Sleeping Early Could Extend Your Life

This is what sleep experts tell us and recent studies suggest that getting at least six hours of sleep every night is actually our ticket to a longer and healthier life! There is no exact scientific explanation as to why sleeping at least six hours each night is so important yet it has been noted that a good sleep improves the immune system, the mood and even the metabolism of a person. However, lack of sleep increases stress hormones and levels of inflammation in the body. Sometimes, it results in chronic health problems by stimulating a person’s appetite resulting in overeating and weight gain.

It does not matter to me if experts cannot explain why sleeping at least six hours every night is important. What I know is that I feel revived and refreshed every time I get enough sleep.

So… good night everyone and off to dreamland I go!
